Scope

What venetian plaster covers.

01

Marmorino & Stucco

Lime-based polished plaster systems. Worked in three to five coats, burnished to a marble-like sheen, sealed with beeswax or natural soap.

02

Micro-cement

Continuous, water-resistant cement-based finish for bathrooms, wet rooms and statement walls. Levelled, polished, sealed.

03

Tadelakt

Traditional Moroccan lime plaster, hand-burnished with stone. Genuinely waterproof, breathable, and unlike anything else in the room.

04

Statement feature walls

Single feature walls, full rooms, awkward stairwells, chimney breasts and bathroom walls. Designed in collaboration; finished by hand.

Questions

Venetian plaster, common questions.

How long does a Venetian plaster wall take?

Typically two to three days for a single feature wall: prep day, coats with curing time between, burnish and seal on the last day. Larger rooms run to a week.

Is it really waterproof?

Tadelakt and properly sealed micro-cement are. Standard Venetian plaster is water-resistant for splashes but not designed for direct shower walls. We recommend the right system at the survey.

Can you do colour matching?

Yes. We tint to a brief, a colour swatch, or an existing finish in the home. Sample patches before we commit on the full wall.
