Scope

What painting covers.

01

Interior emulsion & woodwork

Walls and ceilings cut in by hand, woodwork sanded and finished without brush marks. Two coats minimum over a properly prepped substrate.

02

Masonry & rendered walls

Long-life masonry paint over filled and stabilised substrates. The right system for the wall, not just whichever tin is on offer.

03

Sash, doors & weatherboards

Sash window restoration, doors, weatherboards and railings. Cut-in by hand around fragile detailing.

04

Heritage colour matching

Bringing a faded original colour back, matching the room next door, or pulling a period-correct palette. We do the homework.

Questions

Painting, common questions.

Two coats or three?

Two coats over a properly prepped surface is enough for most colours. Strong reds, deep navies and yellows usually need three. We tell you up front in the quote.

Will the smell linger?

We use low-VOC paints for interior work. Drying smell clears within a day or two of finishing.

When can you do exterior work?

Spring through autumn for masonry; woodwork can run a little longer. We watch the forecast and only paint into dry, mild conditions.
